Who we are

Bond Design Studio is a residential design studio in Sydney, New South Wales. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Bond Design Studio. Our contact details are at the end of this page.

What we collect

When you enquire about a project, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, the suburb of your site, the type of project you are planning, your intended construction budget and anything else you choose to tell us about your project.

If you become a client, we also collect the information we need to design your project, such as the site address, existing plans, photographs, survey and council documents.

How we collect it

• Directly from you, through our website enquiry form, by phone, by email or in person
• Through Facebook and Instagram lead forms, where Meta passes on the details you submit to us
• Automatically when you visit our website, through cookies and similar technologies (see below)

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange your free initial consultation with Monica
• To send you our design guide if you request it
• To provide, manage and invoice our design services
• To understand which of our advertising leads to enquiries, so we can improve it

We do not sell your personal information. We only send you marketing where you have agreed to it or would reasonably expect it, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run our business, with:

• Goober Marketing Pty Ltd, our marketing agency, which manages our advertising and the system that receives our website and lead form enquiries
• The providers that host our website and deliver our email
• Google and Meta, for advertising and to measure how our ads perform
• Consultants and builders involved in your project, with your knowledge
• Anyone we are required or authorised by law to disclose it to

Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies from Google, including Google Analytics and Google Ads, to understand how visitors use the site and to measure which ads lead to enquiries. If you arrive from one of our ads, the website may store the campaign details in your browser so an enquiry can be matched to the ad that brought you here.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the website will still work. You can also manage how Google and Meta use your information for advertising at adssettings.google.com and facebook.com/adpreferences, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt out add on.

How we store and protect it

We keep personal information in secure, password protected systems and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it, unless we are required to keep it by law.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
